Tasting Notes:
The aroma is smooth, fine and sophisticated, marked by buttery, fruity notes. Aromas of spice, white pepper and nutmeg appear after aeration. This 1999 vintage has a lively, rich and spicy taste. It reveals a perfect tannic structure which is evident yet contained. The finish of this rum is aromatic, with scents of macerated prunes, jam and gingerbread. Overall, it is supported by invigorating hints of fine wood and white pepper. Rum lovers will find in this 1999 vintage all the personality and generosity of Trois Rivières rums: rich, full-flavored rums brimming with tonicity and aromas. It is best enjoyed neat in a tasting glass.
