El Dorado has an incredibly long history in rum production dating back to the 1600's. Sitting on the banks of the Demerara River in Guyana, South America, the distillery (Diamond Distillery) is home to several modern stills as well as their very unique Heritage Stills
- Port Mourant Traditional Double Wooden Pot Still;
- Enmore Traditional continuous Coffey Still, and;
- Versailles Traditional Single Wooden Pot Still.
These Wooden Stills are they last of their kind in use today and help to create the very prestigious El Dorado Range.
Once you taste rum from one of the most historical producers in business today, you'll begin to appreciate rum and look at it in a new light.
Along with El Dorado, Pussers Rum is made at the Diamond Distillery. Pussers was and still is the Royal Navy Rum - you can read more about that here.
