Rivière Du Mât is situated on La Réunion Island in the town of Saint-Benoît. Offering a range of agricultural rums made from "pure sugarcane juice" and traditional rums made from "molasses". These rums will delight the true connoisseur by their nose characteristics and palate sensations. Presented in elegant bottles and distinctive packaging. Proudly the first awarded rum from La Réunion Island (Paris Agricole Competition 2003).

Extra Old (XO)

A blend of 5 rums aged in oak casks for a minimum of 6 years - average age: 8 years. Golden and mohogany in colour. The first nose is marked by floral and dry fruit notes. After ventilation, slight wooden notes appear, melting with Havana Cigar notes and ending with a long and delicate finish. The palate is smooth, rich and well-balanced with subtle notes of jammy fruit, ginger bread, black pepper and hot pepper.

Brut De Chais

Aged in oak casks from Bourgogne

Aged in oak casks for a minimum of 6 years.
Palate: Smooth and aromatically charming: slight notes of liquorice and vanilla, slight roasted and wooden notes.

Palate: Flexible and smooth with a good structure. Hot sugar and banane flambee flavors last on spicy, grey pepper and curry notes.

Traditional Vieux

This rum has franc and identifying aromatic characteristics. It can be tasted at the beginning or at the end of the meal.
