A range of high-alcohol-content Bas-Armagnac brandies, exceptionally produced from a single grape variety, the Folle Blanche. This variety is fragile given that its grapes grow in tight bunches and are susceptible to grey rot. Relatively rare, owing to the amount of attention it requires, the Folle Blanche nevertheless produces a fruity finesse that is beyond compare. This exceptional grape is distilled separately in a traditional continuous still, a wood-burning Armagnac alembic, on location at Chateau du Tariquet.
These three Folle Blanche brandies offer a fruity finesse that is beyond compare.
Folle Blanche is undoubtedly the greatest grape variety of the Bas-Armagnac region, yet paradoxically only 5% of vineyards in the official AOC production area grow this kind of grape. The Chateau du Tariquet has 25 hectares of Folle Blanche vines.
These unusual Bas-Armagnac brandies offer a comprehensive and surprising aromatic palette combined with distinctive strength and complexity.
