Nicaragua - Reserve 1998
This rum has enjoyed extended maturation in American Oak cask and this combines additional complexity with its natural style.
Pale gold in colour, a soft tropical fruity nose combines with sweet round flavours on the palate touched with banana and soft oak. A well-balanced finish gives this rum an attractive style and makes it an ideal aperitif to enjoy as a long drink.

Peru - Reserve 8 Year Old
Peru is not normally seen as a rum producing nation but sugar cane is grown in the higher central regions and fine spirit produced. This example was distilled on a column still from molasses and matured in used Bourbon casks for eight years in the high cool mountain air before it was shipped to the U.K.
It shows considerable colour and soft deep nose with sweet round fruit and a hint of spice. The wood is soft and the palate has a medium weight of flavour together with a soft lingering finish.

Demerara Guyana - Port Morant 1990
We have selected this bottling from 1990 which has been matured for most of its life in American oak, until we transferred it to old Port Pipes for the last 2 years prior to bottling.
Dark in colour with ruby tints the nose is full of fruit with tones of toffee and soft wood. A good weight of palate leads to sweetness and the classic Port Morant touch of aniseed. Well controlled wood enhances a long and lingering finish.

Demerara Guyana - Enmore 1988
Matured only in used American Bourbon casks its pale golden colour is unusual for a 20 year old rum.
Light in colour but full in nose, deep fruit, burnt sugar and high wood tones give a clear cut introduction to a dry deep palate with toasted spice notes, firm spirit and a well controlled flavour profile, good weight and long dry aftertaste.
